Tom Venuto’s ‘Burn the fat, feed the muscle’.
I think that this is the best. It’s a 340 page eBook explaining in detail:
- How to burn body fat
- Why diets and supplemements just don’t work
- How to sculpt the beach body that YOU want
- Programs to enable you to fit your transformation into your busy life
- The three ‘key areas’ which you need to deal with to burn fat, and keep it off
It’s been written by Tom Venuto, who is a successful bodybuilder. He knows his stuff, and has taught it to many people - not just bodybuilders, but also normal people who just want to change their bodies to be how they WANT them to be and to truly achieve lifetime fitness.

Next up is Mike Geary’s ‘Truth about 6 pack abs’
It’s the biggest selling exercise program on the internet (Tom Venuto’s book is the next biggest), so it must give people what they want.
- Concentrates on getting rid of body fat to reveal abs
- Nutrition and execise, but not endless ab exercises
- What you MUST and MUST NOT do to get a sexy toned body
- Completely ‘natural’ i.e. no useless supplements or pills
- For me, it’s a bit too focused on bodybuilding, and not enough on fitness, but that’s just my opinion

Last of the ‘BIG hitters’ is Turbulence Training. This program is a bit different from the first two, as it concentrates on varied, short but intense workouts to achieve the body you want.
- High intensity workouts to burn fat and build muscle
- No equipment needed (bodyweight exercises)
- Routines change regularly to avoid boredom and ensure full body improvement
- Detailed descriptions make it easy to follow
- I think it’s a bit too complicated for many people - different routines every week or two, and different combinations make it too involved for me. But if you want a detailed, step-by-step program, this is the one for you.
